Attila the Neighbor, off his meds and making trouble, once demanded that we pay for a property-line survey so that he could prove that he owned 3 feet into our property so that he could make us tear down the garage and take out the pool. We refused, of course -- property line surveys here are done by private companies, cost a gazillion dollars, and are subject to challenge by other property line surveys, so eventually you all end up in court yelling "he measured this" and "he measured that." We just waited it out, and sure enough Attila subsided after a week or so.

I love it. Bubba you should do stand-up.
The wall at my rental house has structural footing problems. When I told the Landlord, he sent his handy-man out with a tube of caulk.
What did I expect?

Hey, you've got a pretty responsive landlord there. Since repairs are usually the responsibility of the renter, I would have expected him to tell you to get your own tube of caulk! :-)
