What the heck is this anyway?

All around my house is what appears to be concrete "moulding" which is one piece. It is around the windows and in the bathroom. I have also seen it on walls with tiles inside it. I have never seen it in any of the constructions places. I would like to have/get/make some to use as a border for some 4X4 tiles.

Can anyone help me with what it is and how I can get/make some?

I am attaching a picture (or trying to) from the bathroom. Hope you can tell what it is from this 2-D picture.

Thanks.

Spock.

Your picture did not get attached, and I'm not sure from your description what it is, but I'll make a guess that you are looking at a concrete (stucco) trim. Does it look like this:

This was built in place by the stucco man. It is not a purchased product. Here is a picture of the guy making it:

It is hand made concrete moulding and I love it. I have it as a crown mold, a chair rail and around my bathroom lavatory. The artist that made mine used lots of nails to form it on. Fascinating to watch. They are true artists.
