Finally - Nice Weather and Bargain Shopping

Well, here it is Xmas day and damned if the weather did not become that which my real estate agent told me to expect around here in winter. Crystal skies and temps in the 70s.

This community is coming of age. Now we have an excellent discount Soriana, a couple of places to buy exotic foods not usually found in Mexico, vendors selling excellent meats such as Suzason in Ajijic and Costco in Guadalajara and fresh fish at the Wednesday tianguis and Soriana. That and great weather within 20 minutes of an international airport, 45 minutes of a great city and four hours from the Pacific Coast.

However, I'm becoming bug eyed at what is happening to real estate prices here. A house I looked at in Los Olivos a couple of months ago priced at $265,000USD is now on the market at $349,500USD. Go figure!

I hope most of y'all done already bought yo house. If not, try Sayula whiich is also mighty nice but no gringos and no Roquefort Cheese.
