Hi! Is there a web site or chat room for Merida, Yucatan that I can check on a family that I know and a Property I was buying. I would really appreciate the help...I have lost communications with everyone after the Hurricane. Help...Thanks

We moved to Merida from Veracruz a week before Isidore hit....our phone service never went down..we were without electricity for just over 24 hours...since we live in centro our sector got power first...the head of CFE said on the news last night that some parts of the Yucatan wouldn't have power for 180 days yet. We still don't have water....if you need for me to contact someone for you, I would be happy to try.
