I'm learning - slowly. So my previous post was not accurate. Of those of you who know, which would be better covering a patio around a pool and why?

Cantera is more porous, wears faster, stains easier. It is more difficult to maintain in its original state.

I'd use concrete with a color mixed into the concrete. It will not be slippery, it can be sealed etc. Plus, it's cheaper. You might also look into concrete stamping along with the coloring.
