Landline in Jocotepec??

Can't Post | Private Reply
I am considering using landline for backup internet. That is, if they will ever install my phone! I have this strange feeling that whenever I hookup to the internet with a landline here in Jocotepec, it will be long distance. Am I correct?
Thanks
Don

Prodigy has a local dialup account in Jocotepec. Your present ISP Lagunanet does not. Prodigy offers a special by the minute account that costs 17.25 centavos per minute (with IVA) or just over 10 pesos per hour.

It would seem to me that this "Prodigy por Minuto" plan would be perfect for you as a backup, should you ever get a telephone line

Thanks Pete. You're right. That does sound like a rather inexpensive backup.
