If y'all find this entertaining, I've got lots more. The colorful city of Campeche on the Gulf of Mexico is proud of its wonderful variety of seafood. Restaurante Finisterre at 55 Avenue de las Palmas serves wonderful Dogfish (El Cazon) and squid stuffed with shrimp and crab in chilpachole. The reviewer prefers the pompano cooked in pohchuc en papilliote or marinated or porgy or red snapper or grouper cooked in various fashions. The old city, near the port, is filled with great seafood restaurants. You can buy a nice house in this city for around $20,000 US.
