Sorry about the caps, but I'm so excited. Hubby and I have just returned from our trip and he fell in love with the place. Even better, we found a house that "sang" to us both and we close next month!!!!
Yes, it was quick, but please don't worry that we've made a "pink cloud" decision. We've both lived and travelled outside of the US so we're very comfortable in our decision. The Chapala area has so much of what we were looking for in our retirement. Nothing is 100% perfect, so we're not going in with wildly high expectations of Shangri-La (well....) ;)
We've met a few of the local ex-pats and hope to meet more of you. Which reminds me--to the lady who was kind enough to give me the peso change that I needed at the post office: thank you!
