Does the Mexican social security health insurance impose a restriction on pre-existing conditions? I have a heart condition, and claudication in both legs. Have had repaired several times, but seems to be a condition that will exist regardless!

That translation is a bit bumpy. Do I interpret it correctly that the listed preexisting conditions are never treatable, or is the one-year period mentioned further down applicable?

From what I understand, pre-existing conditions are covered in the second year. God help you though if you break an arm. They won't cover broken bones til the third year....go figure :) I love the logic of Mexico.<p>It's always best to check with the clinic you will be with on what their rules are. Many of us have discovered that rules vary from place to place.
