Does anyone know if the Ajijic taxi driver, Francisco, has an e-mail address? I have his phone # but forgot to ask him when I called.

I hire Francisca or one of his sons on a regular basis. Told him someone wanted his Email address when he drove me into Guad this week. He does not have one.
Maybe the B&B you refer to is Tres Leones which uses him frequently and does have a web site up on Mexconnect.
He is very reliable so not to worry.

Francisco is the brother of Los Artistas B & B cook, Socorro. He has the keys to their B & B and has served it for 14 years. Tres Leones is less than one year old

I must stress the importance of having a trusty taxi driver in Mexico, as in all Latin America.
In GDL, they are OK, in DF, only use "Taxis de Sitio" or taxis from airport, they are controlled.<p>When travelling in countryside, or town to town, use someone you know or are reccommended.

Gracias, Hector, we have used Francisco often when we're in Ajijic, although we haven't been there in several years. We've only had one bad experience with a taxi driver there. I think his name was Alex.
