what can anyone tell me about Alamos mexico, it has some beautiful hotels but who goes there and why. i did see that they have quite a music festival, anything else?

Alamos is the northernmost Spanish colonial city. An old silver mining town, I hear. Birders go there, historians, & general tourists.

You will find some information (39 hits at the last count) by using the "Search Posts" feature (in the toolbar above the Forum headings) and entering "Alamos".
