Disconnected

Can't Post | Private Reply

Here's what happens: I log on to Mexconnect, click on My Mail, tend to that, then if I CLOSE the mail window, I am disconnected from the internet; if I just jump to Forums, all is well. Then later, when I close the MAIL window, there goes my internet connection. It happened when I had dial-up and continues now with the DSL service. Any ideas?

It could be any number of things. Often persons who run their MexConnect email through Outlook Express, for Example, are surprised to see that somehow the box that says "hang up after sending and receiving" has been selected, and they have to unselect that option.
