Am planning on comming down your way the end of Sept. for 4 nights, can find plenty of B@B's but what about Hotel's arn't there any Hotels down there and what about Motels, come on somebody e-mail me back an let me know what's going on down there, you meen we have to pay $50 a night for a room, I know that the natives are not paying that much for a room for two guy's that want to come down for a visit. Thanks in advance Bud Conn Las Vegas Nv.

The hotel Italo just east of the Ajijic plaza has rooms available for around $25 a night.

You are going to pay about the same for
hotel/motels/B&b that you will pay in
the USA for similar accommodations.You can get accommodations comparable to
Motel 6 for $25-40 a night most places,
but don't expect to find them for much
less.After you have scouted out an area and
checked out few places for yourself, you will
be able to find some lower cost places comparable
to the travel hostels in the USA , that is,
for $12-15 a night. If you get lucky, someone
may send you an address.... but it might not
be all that you expect.....Hotel Nido in
Chapala used to be like that, but they have
closed.Don't fall for the "Mex on $5 a day" stuff, that
ended long ago...... The $35 B&Bs are pretty
good, and will give you a chance to explore... Mabel

WE WANT TO VISIT LAKE CHAPALLA FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS IN JANUARY, FEBRUARY....NEED TO FIND A HOTEL OR B&B ... NEED WEBSITE OR PHONE NUMBERS.
WOULD LIKE TO SPEND WINTERS WITH YOU EVENTUALLY AND TAKE SPANISH LESSONS.ANY ADVICE WILL BE APPRECIATED...THANKS
