Thanks for the explanations, Pete. I've never used Incredimail. This problem could be related to virus activity, but my computer isn't infected and I run frequent updates manually (and a scan at least once a week) in addition to the LiveUpdate function of Norton--so who knows. And it's not just a Prodigy problem. Whatever it is, is affecting Laguna folks too. This started on Friday night or Saturday morning. I'm all too familiar with the ISP blocks in the USA and Canada. Emails sent to those blocking ISPs are definitely returned to sender. It's not a situation like any of the ones you described. The emails I'm talking about simply don't arrive. They disappear into the maw of cyberspace. It's frustrating when your correspondent asks you a question, you reply by return email, and then a day later (or longer), your correspondent says, "Well, are you going to answer me or just leave me hanging?"--or words to that effect. If it's not resolved by this afternoon, I'll call Prodigy and see what they say. http://www.mexicocooks.typepad.com
