Where are the boat dry storages located?

Can a person work on his or her boat while stored in a dry storage?

Where are the Marina's located?

Can a person live on his or her boat while anchored at a Marina?

Since they started the new construction at Marina Mazatlan, the boat storage area is no longer available. Depending on how long your boat is, you may be able to find a pension. I put a 25 foot Catalina, on a trailer, in a safe pension. I'm sure you could work on your boat there but electricity may be a problem. At the old harbor, there is a place where several boats are in drydock and are being worked on. You'd have to go down there and talk with the folks there. There is another place, up the estuarary that can pull larger craft and you can work there. When you are in town, go down to the old harbor and ask questions. If you can't find any answers, let me know and I'll see what I ca n do. As far as policies concerning working on your boat in the marinas at the north end of town, I've seen people doing repairs but as to the policy of the marina, you'd have to ask one of the various harbor masters.

The boat is a 36 footer and would require either a crane or special trailer to put it on the hard. Are there any of these types of facilities.

I'm sure the facilities exist but I don't know exactly where. I see boats twice that size in dry dock at the far end of the old harbor. I met a guy from Z-town who had his 50 foot catamaran up here for some bottom work. I know who to contact when you are in Mazatlan so if you need to know for sure, email me and I'll get their phone number.
