Anyone else think the new subject lines are too

Small to read easily, or am I just resistant to change? The date of the last post is awfully large also. I think that space could better be used to make the subject lines easier to read.

I hate this--it is no improvement for me. Why can't I see all the posts in a thread like I could before?

This is no improvement - I subscribe to the philosphy "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" - Web Jefe, what was wrong with the old format?

You're seeing a date? Mine have disappreared altogether. Can I change an option to see dates again?

Apologies for not replying to this question sooner; I hadn't realised that no-one had jumped in to solve your problem.

It should only involve resetting your preferences - Go to "Edit Profile" near top of screen, then choose "Display Settings", then look for "Default Post Display" (fourth option from the top) and select "Flat"

If you want to start from the initial post every time (and not jump straight to the last post), then also look at "In flat view, when viewing thread" and select "View Root Post".

Before you leave that screen, then hit "Make Profile Changes" at the bottom, and you should be all set to see the posts just as you have in the past.

Actually, I think this is one of those things that is more complicated to explain than it is to do!

Thanks for your help, but I've tried all the display settings and I hate them all. These changes are a disaster for me--I really don't want to re-learn how to read the forums. To whoever did this: Put them back the way they were--overwritten or not, the old format can be recreated.

While I don't have any quarrel with the new look, I was appalled when I read that the old system was not retrieval because it had been over-written. My God! There is no backup file?
