Children's Resources SMA

We are reviewing the possibility of relocating our family to SMA. We have a small child (1 yr), and I was wondering about local resources for children.

I was pleased to find the Waldorf school, but any other feedback or website links for the library or other options would be appreciated.

The Biblioteca has about 45,000 books, half English, half Spanish, and several programs for children, though at one year yours is pretty young yet! The computer center is getting an overhaul, and there's a good art program for children. Besides Colegio los Charcos, the Waldorf school, e-mail loscharcos@hotmail.com, there's another bilingual school that advertises a lot, Jose Vasconcelos, from preschool through grade nine, escjosev@prodigy.net.mx.

I see lots of events like puppet shows and films just for kids advertised, though not having any children here I don't pay much attention. But I think you'd find lots and lots of culture-expanding opportunities for your child. Look through past threads on this forum for more info.
