What ever happened to the Amigos del Lago? Their website used to have details and contact information but now has only a couple of photos:
http://www.amigosdelago.org<p>Is the organization no longer soliciting donations? Did they lose their probationary status or something?

The old website needed updating. A new web page complete with much more information and photos should be up and running in about 1 week. Amigos del Lago has been selected by Living Lakes to be come a member, all new members are automatically put on a one year probationary status. Based on the criteria of Living Lakes and the Global Nature Fund, Amigos del Lago is currently developing programs directed towards the rejuvenation of Lake Chapala and the Rio Lerman Watershed. There are currently no fund raising projects being pursued, however donations and new membership applications are always welcome at the Amigos del Lago office.
