I just went in to check out Chris B's New Beginnings site and it has been hacked by Islamists protesting America's support of Israel - I think the language being used at the beginning is Turkish. The protest is not surprising but the use of a site that is limited in its appeal to people who are interested in moving to Mexico is surprising.

I was wondering about the server. Did that one website get hacked, or did eveything on the server get hit?

I sure hope my server is secure. My website would take forever to reload. It has grown to 109 pages with 1010 images. And I'm working on a new page tonight. It's taken on a life of its own. But it keeps me out of the pool hall. Smile

Hello ! I am new in this community and i have seen this post about site hacked, it seems yes is turkish language because is similar to hungarian.

If you run your own server and you dont have a good firewall hackers can open back doors and that is why is easy to hack.

I save all of my files in local machine with Dreamweaver, if you dont do that, just use the back up file on your windows system and thats all, if you not sure how to use it, Roxio has good software to use and files are never in risk.

Sorry about this site, i have some sites of mine and is always a risk.

Good day !

This is their message that can be seen inside the source code:

You! United States, has always supported Israel, spiritual and also with money.

And Israel has been continuing their terrorist attacks with the power and money that
they have got from US, in the middle east (currently Filistin).

After Filistin, next one is Israel. When? When will you attack Israel? We!, all muslim countries
and all muslim people STRONGLY CONDEMN your actions. Also Isra1l.

This hacking has been done for protesting United States. But sites never damaged

Yes you are right Jean, and one online problem for webmasters is the source code, you can buy a program to protect your html script and such way, you keep your site safe.

Good point !
