"Academy" group home???

Can't Post | Private Reply
Hi,

I am posting for some information on behalf of a friend. She has some relatives who have / are moving to your area to run a 'group home' they refer to as "the academy". Wondering if anyone can direct me to some information regarding this. Sorry i do not know the official name of it, but maybe someone who is reading this does.

thank you,

Jodie

There is a religious organization here in town, the Abundant Life Christian Fellowship, that I believe has within the last 6 months opened a group home for adolescent American boys. I don't have an email address or telephone number for them, but they would no doubt be the ones you're looking for.

There is a church going up just to the East of Mail Boxes Etc, in San Antonio . The kids from the fellowship were working as volunteers there as little as to weeks ago. In fact I think I saw them walking along the road earlier this week. I shall check Friday and see what I can come up with.

If it is the group I think it is they bring some of their young people to the LCS library every week. Last week they also seemed to have males instead of females. In the past they have only been having young girls. I do not know anything about their program but the young people are always well behaved when we see them

The church under construction just east of MBE in San Antonio is the Abundant Life Assembly of God. The Abundant Life Fellowship is an entirely different organization. Regards to all.
