Mexconnect Email Set up via outlook

Hi guys,

I have followed the instructions given on the site about setting up your outlook to receive my mexconnect emails. I keep getting the following error:

There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'mexconnect.com', Server: 'mexconnect.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR Bad login', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

Does anyone have any idea what I have done wrong? can someone help?

I'm embarrassed to admit, that I had never included my mexconnect email address in my outlook or outlook express software. In fact as a result of this effort, I found an email sent to me on 2-28-04 that I never got. My fault.

I just entered my settings to my "outlook express" as suggested and then sent myself a test message, and it came through fine. Remember that where you would normally only enter your user name, that instead you are required to enter your whole email address.

I chose not to change my outgoing mail settings, preferring to use my normal server.

Go ahead and try re-entering the data, it will work.

Also make sure you are using the correct password

Can you confirm the name of the mail server? Is it mail.mexconnect.com? I am trying to set up a pop3 so I can receive my mail in Gmail.

I believe it should be simply mexconnect.com [no "mail."]
