Prescription Medicine

If you have to take certain prescription medicine and shots everyday, do you need to show something in the border crossing or have some letter from your doctor? Traveling on vacation for almost two weeks.

You need to be able to show the prescription from your doctor. If it looks like narcotics, be real clear with the prescriptions! Keep the original containers that show the name of the drugs, too. The border guys may have an old PDR to check the looks of the pills against.

Much of what is prescription in the States is over the counter here, but it's safer to make sure you have your prescriptions and prescription bottles.
