A Visit to the Cemetery

Last week I visited my town's cemetery for the first time. I was so impressed with what I saw that I went back today to take pictures which I have put on my website.

Perhaps this will prompt you to visit your town's cemetery. Lerdo is a working class community of fairly modest means, so wealthier areas should have even more spectacular statuary.

That IS amazing! I haven't seen anything quite like that here in Mazatlan, but then I have only been to one graveyard.

Thanks for sharing those with us.

Incredible, Rolly, and nice photography! I've caught glimpses of some of the San Miguel cemeteries, thoroughly decorated and heavily visited on Day of the Dead, and they too are reminiscent of New Orleans cemeteries with all the statuary.

I too want to say again what a great website you have!
