A few weeks back, a fellow Tech poster suggested I establish a Prodigy account Stateside before coming down for a visit, the theory being I would be able to access the Prodigy account with the Mexican local access numbers. I plan to give this a try when we come down this Spring. We will be traveling to several towns and I would like to be able to get online from my hotel room.
The local access number page on the Telmex/Prodigy web site lists the numbers with an LADA prefix. How does that work? Is the LADA prefix just an area code, or is this going to be a toll call?
