.....but is there a traditional meal for Canadian Thanksgiving. Being a U.S.A. brand of gringo, all I ever think of is turkey, dressing, gravy and pumpkin pie.<p>What do our neighbors to the north serve on this holiday?

The same, big day for family to come home.<p>Beautiful today, sun shining, the trees are a mass of reds, oranges, yellows, about 65 degrees.<p>They do not understand why the US has Thanksgiving so close to Christmas, too much Turkey too soon.<p>We are having Wild Turkey, I managed to shoot one of about 2 dozen wandering through the lower hills.

back at you don-as to jacks question-i'm in alberta-it snowed twice this week-we will be making brine soaked turkey with potato dumplings and kraut and yes pumpkin pie-tommorrow my faithfull dog howdy and i will go to my favourite slough and attempt to bring home a duck/goose or two for the larder-cheers
