This has been a long one so I guess I did not read every Post carefully.

I just packed both by G4 and XP desktops for their trip to Merida, which starts tomorrow for them.

My TiBook and Toshiba laptops will drive with me when I leave on Tuesday.

We have cable connection for the internet arranged for my rental. Does the cable internet work well in Merida (Mexico)? What are the speeds that people get? Do you get their top speed automatically?

Anything else I should know about the cable service in Mexico?

Well, hey... another bi :)

I don't know much about the cable internet in Mérida, just that I wish I had it. I've used super fast i-net cafes there, so it exists. Here on the caribe I can't even get prodigy infinitum, it stops about a mile away.

Enjoy Mérida, I was there for Carnival this year. It was wonderful. I'm now laying around with my foot in the air though because I sprained my ankle really badly stepping in a hole in the street. It turned over on me a couple more times here in Akumal after that and now I'm on enforced foot bondage. Watch those cobblestones.

¡Qué bueno! Cómo se puede ver, ahora tengo las letras españolas...sólo necesito mucha práctica porque desde hace muchos años (más que quiero decir) que he estudiado la lengua.
