Sure your large C band dish should work. Chances are though the mesh in your C band antenna is rather large and you will not get that good reflectivity of the Ku signal to the LNBF. But your dish is so big that you should get enough reflection. My 5 meter C band dish works great on Ku and Star Choice. Remember though, you probably only have a C band LNBF so you will need to install your LNBF. Also remember that during heavy winds the big dishes sometimes get blown of site and have to be re-adjusted. At least mine does. But I re-adjust it using the remote and my C band receiver. The problem is you have a split dual LNBF meant for an elliptical not parabolic dish. Remember that only one of the two Star Choice satellites is receivable this far south. But you can make it work You can learn about pointing your dish by going to http://www.lyngsat.com/ and linking to Anik F-1 You have several to many hours ahead of you learning how to do this. It will be fun, if you have the time. If not there are sat dealers in the area who can help you. In short. It's do-able, but most folks find it impractical to do. I put in another dish too. I use my Big dish for other programming, and have a small dish for my Star Choice
