Yes there is both ADSL and wireless available in central Ajijic and yes several internet cafes have broadband connections. The cafe I know of, closest to you, is the CIA across the street from Telmex, just West of the Buganvilla (Spelling?) shopping center. Telmex offers ADSL and Lagunanet immediately above the CIA offers wireless. Both have setup fees making signing up for short periods rather expensive. Come by Lagunanet Monday morning, between 9:15 and 11:15 AM and there will be someone there who can advise you about broadband as well as how to listen to or watch channel 2 CBUT or any other channel or radio station from the lower mainland during your stay in Ajijic. Or are you still in Vancouver?
