Changing residence and phone
How difficult or how easy is it to change your prodigy account when you move from one rental to another? I get conflicting information from telmex. One day they say the new phone owner--that is not me-- must write an affidavit and have both sides of her IFE credencial de lector photocopied onto it and come down in person to the office. When she actually goes down, they tell her that the owner of the other phone where I want prodigy to be disconnected must also go down to the office and request a termination.
I know I could just cancel online and re-instate the service at the new house. But then I would lose my current internet address. Does anybody know how this is best handled?
