Living and Teaching English in Mexico

Can't Post |
: Hello, I just ran across this website in my search for information on living and working in Mexico.
: I took an early retirement, but I'm much too young to retire. I visited Mexico in my youth, and it has always fascinated me. I have been toying with the idea of teaching english there, and perhaps, if it works out, relocating there. Of course I have a lot of questions, but I'll limit myself to just two for the time being:
: 1. I understand there is a big demand for english teachers and many english language schools in the big cities. Are there also english language schools in smaller towns and cities, especially in the higher (cooler) inland regions?
: 2. I am now taking a six week certificate course designed to equip teachers to teach english overseas, and I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Armed with those qualifications, I've been given to understand I'd be qualified to teach in many of the english language schools in Mexico, despite the fact that I don't speak Spanish. Is that a fair assessment of the requirements?
: I'd really appreciate hearing from those of you who are currently teaching english in Mexico.
: Thanks, David
: P.S. I really enjoyed reading the postings on this website.
I know of an excellent language institute franchise called harmon hall contact me if you wish to have more information
