Spacing In Posts

OK, I am stymied and need help. How do I get this thing to single space? For example, if I want to make a list of ingredients for a recipe, I want single spacing and I can't get it. What am I doing wrong? Obviously it will single space if I don't hit 'enter' to go to a new line, but if I do, it's always double spaced.

This is not an area that I am very good at. Try this, write your menu in for example Microsoft word and then copy it to this document.

and I have no idea
whether it will work
or not.

It looks good so far. let's see what happens when I post it

IT DIDN"T WORK. I had to go in and edit my post and now it works. So one rather inefficient way is to enter as you wished, and when the words are double spaced, re-enter like I did and edit the post. There has to be a better way

The word processor on this board really sucks! It's not as poor as the spellchecker, but almost.
If you want
simngle line spacing,
you have to use
Shift/Enter at the end of each line.

Try writing in Word and then saving in Rich Text format. Close and then reopen the Rich Text file. Cut and paste to the editor. I hate to use this forums editor for my primary input. One little error and the whole session is humo.

I am hoping that a future upgrade will include a more dynamic text edit!
In the meantime.:
1. A return/enter produces a new paragraph.
2. Shift/Enter produces a new line.
