Can anyone help me with location info?

Hi all,

I have been in touch with a few rental properties for my upcoming trip. Two of the ones that seem the best are in an area called Privada de Animas (they said it down from the corner of Las Animas and La Luna). I looked on my SMA map but can't find it. Is anyone familiar with this area?

I have some info on these places and if anyone would mind taking the time to check out the web info, etc. for me that would be wonderful. It would be great to have a "trained" eye that knows the area to tell me what they think. If so, please send me a message and I will get in touch.

Muchas Gracias!

The location is convenient to the most frequented places in Centro. I don't think anyone would want to offer an opinion about quality as it is definitely in the eye of the beholder. Most rentals obtained on the internet are overpriced. My advice is to forgo the security of having a confirmed reservation and, instead, come down here and check into a hotel that meets your requirements. Then spend a day or two looking at the myriad of rentals that are advertised on message boards, Atencion etc. You will be much happier being able to compare available listings in person.

Thanks Brian - The rentals are priced at $500 per month for the one bedroom and $600 per month for the two bedroom. Those prices include elec/gas/cable/phone/maid service. Does that sound reasonable or is that overpriced. I don't know the rental market pricing there yet so if you could let me know what I should expect I would appreciate it.

Muchas Gracias,

The price range is representative. Whether a place is overpriced, in my opinion, is dictated by the quality you get for the money. You probably want to know if a place is "nice" but as I mentioned that is very relative and one should judge for oneself.
