The Spanish "i" is pronounced like a long "e", the "ch" is hard, the "o" like a long "oh", the "a" like the "o" in "pop" (pahp), the combined vowels "oa" (oh-ah) sounds more like "oh-wah", and in the usual pronunciation the "o" is very weak if even noticeable.
