Good Morning I just want to share my experience and informantion where possible with travelers headed to Patzcuaro. I read the forum for several months before I made my decision as to where to go. I really needed a retreat atmosphere, economical, and a place I felt safe. By the grace of God and the forum I found Patzcuaro. My stay was for three weeks. during the morning and early afternoons I attended the Spanish language school CELEP,it is a terrific intense course. I homestayed in a small guest house
up the hill from Once Patio that afforded me more exercise than any stairmaster on market, terrific beautician, massage therapist, Was I in heaven? I think so. I am a working middle aged woman,on a limited recreational budget. I financed my trip for less than one thousand dollars. I have spent that much at DisneyLand with my grandkids in less than a week. I do strongly encourage over tipping. The people of the community are kind and hardworking.
