Just my luck....we just sold our home in Tijuana after many years there and moved to San Miguel de Allende in part because its quieter and cleaner..glad to hear that the citizens and local government are taking some civic pride in a vastly misunderstood and underrated Mexican city.

Sweeping's easy! We get a big fine here in Canada for not shovelling snow from the sidewalk in front of your house.

I like that description. I've started poking around Lomas Aguas Calientes for home prices. The one vacant property that I was interested in was purchased by the home owner next door, who then razed his home and built a great big one spanning both properties. I like the idea of two parcels together, but I'd leave one all grass for some space. They do build awfully close together, don't they?
