They will be Mexican residents and American Citizens.<p> Unless they are naturalized as Mexican citizens. Both Mexico and the U.S. recognize dual citizenship.<p>My case is a good example. I was born in the U.S., and am a naturalized Canadian citizen. I have passports from both countries, can vote (legally) in both Canadian and U.S. elections, and can live in either country if I want.
