Getting all the ducks in a row for the eventual move, I run accross questions which may seem elemental, however are somewhat important to my needs

1. Are there any mini-storage businesses around Morelia or the Lake Chapala areas? I would like to have a small trailer for my Jeep but wouder about parking it when not in use. (and still have it available)

2. There are real estate sites for the Lake Chapala area. Any for Michoacan?

Morelia is a big city; the Lake Chapala area is a collection of small towns and villages. Morelia does not have the concentration of foreign and part-time residents that the Lake Chapala area does. Consequently, its market and its needs are different.

While I haven't investigated the existence of mini-storage facilities, you should be able to find some kind of garaging facility to store your trailer.

Now, you've asked about real estate sites for the entire state of Michoacan. Michoacan isn't a small state. Are you considering Lazaro Cardenas, Uruapan, Zitacuaro, La Piedad, Zamora, Patzcuaro, or Morelia? There are only a handful of real estate websites, and none of them are as comprehensive as those which you might find relating to the Lake Chapala area. One site -- http://www.casasycondominios.com hasn't shown listings for several weeks. That doesn't mean that there isn't property for sale everywhere in the state; all it means is that real estate brokers haven't been impelled to list properties online.

Mexconnected's classifieds does have some listings, which may or may not be current. http://www.mexconnect.com/...ieds/classifieds.cgi
