HOUSTON, Jun 12, 2003 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL) today began nonstop daily service between George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston and the International Airport in Morelia, Mexico. With the addition of Morelia, capital of the state of Michoacan, Continental will serve 21 cities in Mexico. The airline already serves more Mexican destinations than any other U.S. airline, with approximately 350 departures each week. Continental will utilize the 50-passenger Embraer regional jet, known as ExpressJet, on its nonstop service to Morelia.
