Building Project Update for 17 May 2003

More of the same old same old. Electrical, plumbing, and shower tile.
We spent some time fixing errors in the bathrooms. We have a few electrical boxes in the wrong places, and some of the pipes come up in the wrong places. In Coco's house we discovered two rooms without electrical home runs to the power panel -- how the hell could that happen? -- but they were not too hard to fix. Thus far all the electrical and plumbing errors have been fixable nuisances.
It is quite obvious that the houses are not going to be ready for move-in at the end of this month. I keep telling Enrique that he is going to have to tell his sisters. He is sure reluctant to do that. Sometimes I'm glad I don't speak much Spanish.
The door maker installed the interior doors in Martha's house. Now he is making the frames for the store-bought front doors for Martha and Rosa.
There is no new picture page on my website for this week because we didn't do anything that hasn't been shown before.
It's been too damn hot. Over 100F everyday this week. Thursday was a real killer at 107F. No spring rain yet.
