I got very discouraged trying to find interesting wallpaper in town, and more specifically - murals. Then I found this website that has about half a zillion wallpaper pictures and some really great murals. I have shown some of it to the ladies of my building project, and they are excited about the prospects of having something that is truly different. I even found a sci-fi outer space mural border for my own house.

You're yessoing the walls?

Before I even built the dining room wing, I already had the map I wanted -- a world map from Hammacher Schlemmer http://www.hammacher.com/...554.asp?promo=search. But the real problem was finding someone to hang it. Given that each panel was unique, and that lining up the edges seemed to be an important idea with a map, I finally found someone at HomeMart who could do the job.

BTW, if your clients are interested in stenciling the walls, HomeMart has some neat precut stencils.

Staring at a computer screen is made marginally better if you have a nice desktop wallpaper to fill up the empty space. The public gallery images are free to use as your personal desktop free desktop background .

Back in the 70's in my younger single days I decorated a townhouse in Denver and had a mural.

This post sure brings back a time many years ago (I won't say how many) when "wall graphics" were in vogue! I bought one of a Redwood Forest Scene and another of a view of a Pacific Coast Cove with sailboats and proceeded to install them on two walls of the house. They sure were a popular conversation piece in those days!
