Importing from Mexico

Can't Post |

Hello,
I recently visited my husband's family in Guadalajara for the first time.
I spent a good part of my childhood in Mexico, have a Master's degree in Spanish Literature... all of that is to say that I am fluent in Spanish.
My husband's oldest brother, who does wraught iron work, is interested in exporting to the States. He is interested in doing a line of wraught iron furniture for the home or garden.
I agreed to help him look into it. I am looking for leads as to where I can get more information on:
1. the importing process for furniture and crafts
2. finding a market for the work (I imagine this might be done through Commercial Expos?)
3. Etc...
Any leads anyone can offer would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Lorena.

Hi CC
I've been going thru these boards trying to find something about selling on Ebay from Mexico and your message is the only I've found so far. Do you have any experience with this--or additional info? I'd really appreciate it.
Faergen
