French Canadian channels are available through StarChoice. CBC, CTV and Global are available, plus some other channels.

Pete Johansen may be able to help you more with the type of receiver you have, which I have never heard of.

Starchoice gives the most French. But not much. The satellite that carries the majority of the french channels does not reach this far south. It is scheduled for replacement with a stronger satellite later this year. The folks who are experts thereon in Ajijic are Ed Linfoot at 766-2557 and Mike or Mario at Satellite systems 766-1117

You can buy the systems down here, but it would be much cheaper in Canada, But don't just blindly buy one up North thinking that when you get down here that it will work. If you get the correct equipment for this part of the world, it will work beautifully, but if you get the wrong equipment and don't properly initialize the programming you will have difficulties.
