The Road From Aguascalientes to San Luis Potosi?

Can't Post |
We came down to Puerto Vallarta by way of Hwy 54 and I am considering going back via Augascalientes and San Luis Potosi. The 2002 Guia Roji map indicates that once you pass Ojelos on highway 70 out of Aguascalientes you come to the town of Villa de Arriaga and there appears to be an improved highway or tollway that goes east to Bledos and then turns north east to Lapila which intersects with tollway 57. Has anyone any information or experience on traveling this route? If so please give me the benefit of your taking this versus highway 54 from Zacatecas to Satillo, a long dusty drive. I know this alternative route may go out of the way but I am not in such a hurry to get out of Mexico as I was to get to Puerto Vallarta. Thanks.

This route (with a link to a map) is discussed in a previous thread: http://www.mexconnected.com/...otosi%20bypass;#9778
