Turkey Hunting & Reforestation in AGS...

Can't Post |
Hello: Several of you have asked me offline about hunting in Mexico. In a google search for the Sierra Fria, not far from the city of Aguascalientes, I found this link to Rancho La Cienega, near San Jose de Gracia. They claim to have world trophy Wild Turkey nearby in the Sierra Fria.
What also impressed me about this Rancho is that they have a Pine nursery, where they are growing Pine (large cone Martinez Pine) for reforestation of the Sierra Fria. They have taken it upon themselves to help out, as it sounds like some past efforts at reforestation have failed in the area due to various reasons.
Anyway, it is an interesting site, even if you are not a hunter.
Saludos desde Aguascalientes, Randy

Pedro, if you wrote to these people I bet they would be able to provide you with a lot of information. I believe there was a clickable website in the post above yours.
