There are lots of mechanics here who can homogenize your car to pass emissions inspections. There are a lot of Mexicans with cars who cannot even pass emissions inspections, so there is an industry for it. I am not quite sure about registering within Mexico, but you will pay a significant tax to register the vehicle. However, you would face a similar problem (with homogenization, not taxes) with passing the U.S. border.<p>
