Lands for sale in Oaxaca ?

Can't Post |
I heard that there is a lot a of "terrenos" for sale in Oaxaca by Infonavit. I also heard that they are at very low prices and that they get an inventory of them at INFONAVIT. I'm not talking about lands close to the coast with magnificient view and all that stuff. Just a place that can afford a mexican family. Where can I find info about this, is there a real estate website that have descriptions and prices ? I've already checked the site of Infonavit. Thanks.

It is a federal agency that loans money to Mexican workers that earn an income of up to six minimum monthly salaries. Not all Mexicans qualify to be beneficiaries of Infonavit loans.

: INFONAVIT DOES NOT SELL HOMES OR LAND.
That may be true, technically, but there are large subdivisions called Infonavit with small, starter homes, sort of townhouse style. Maybe a private contractor builds these, but you must be Mexican and meet qualifications. I rented a home in Infonavit when I first came to Oaxaca, not knowing the situation. The owners, I learned, should have turned the home back to Infonavit to be re-sold. But they had lived in it 17 years, made many improvements and hence rented it at a HIGH rent... for the area and the time.
Are you Mexican? It should be easy to find info.
geri
Rooms for rent in Oaxaca, garden/patio (not in Infonavit! :-)
