A reminder, in case you have not seen it, that I am due to give a presentation at Open Circle this Sunday (social 10:00am, meeting 10:30am) on Lake Chapala's Forgotten Foreigners. I'll share some stories of memorable characters from the early days (1880-1910) and their significance while arguing that the conventional history of the "tourist" development of the area deserves a drastic rewrite. Hope to see some familiar faces!
PS Gwen and I will be at La Nueva Posada until 2 November and hope to catch up with as many people as possible during our brief visit.
