Using Chrome or Firefox, I can not access this forum and I get the message that I have been banned. However, with Opera, I can access the forum without the message. Any solution?

I can't see any issue with the settings for your account on the forum server, and we have no reports of anything similar happening to anyone else, so I think this must be a local issue. Please let us know when it is resolved or if we can do anything else to help,
Tony

I sure don't understand what is happening. At least you are able to get on line. Sorry I can not be more helpful. If anyone is able find out what is happening, please share it with the rest of us.

Here is a suggestion; using opera go into your settings on Mexconnect and change your password. Then sign out. Open firefox and clear your cache, cookies, and passwords. Reboot computer and try to sign on to Mexconnect using firefox.

I never use chrome.

I'll ignore those suggestions. Next someone will tell me to format my drive and reinstall my OS.

I tried to dumb it down for you, Joaquinx. Wasn't simple enough?

Here is a one click suggestion from Firefox,

https://support.mozilla.org/...add-ons-and-settings

If this doesn't work than go ahead and format your drive. Good luck

Latest research

My IP address is 177.246.234.31 on Chrome

What is interesting is the Opera browser with VPN on the IP is 135.84.127.135 When it is turned off it is the same as Chrome.

When I turn VPN off is Opera, I get the error message. When on, I get no message!!!!

Well that's definitely a clue. "Something" does not like that 177 IP address. It is assigned to 'Jalapa'.

I fixed it. Sort of. I installed an extension "Proxy for Chrome" and set this site to use this proxy.

I feel that the problem and the real fix lies in one of two areas. Mexconnect is banning my Megacable IP address. Or Megacable here in Xalapa has a switch set wrong somewhere.

Anyway, I'm back!!

I don't know the reason/s but you are correct that the IP that caused the issue is on the list of bans.

I used to occasionally get banned from various forums until I started posting using my name. Now I am afraid to post what I sometimes want :)
