Moving

I plan to move to Mexico from the mountains of Colorado. Am I better off being married or does that make the temporary visa process more difficult (ie requirement is x dollars per month per individual- does that include my wife ? Will authorities acknowledge a promissory note secured by real estate as income ? I understand that I need temporary visa before permanent ? Help !

I suggest you contact an official source for this information rather than hope for correct answers from the well-meaning but sometimes wrong members of a web board. The nearest Mexican Consulate will have this information. Also try Senor Google.
