Looking for iron supplement...

I've checked on Amazon and they have plenty, but do not ship any of them to Mexico. I don't know what the Spanish name for iron supplements is, so even in the meager vitamin sections I don't know what to look for. Any help?

Whenever we travel into Ajijic/Chapala for shopping we stop at this place for supplements. Claude speaks English and might be able to help you. He's located right next to the Super Lake store.

Foods rich in iron: beef or chicken livers, canned sardines, halibut, beans, nuts (walnuts, almonds, cashews, etc...).

Dr. Simi is the nickname for FARMACIA SIMILARES. Sometimes the Dr. Simi character can be seen dancing out front.

My kids used to be scared of him when they were little. We always refer to the pharmacy as "the Dr. Simi" to the point where I forget thatís not actually the name of the chain.

With the foods available in Mexico there should be no need for any kind of supplement including vitamin pills. You are what you eat.
